Aim Rehabilitation Centre COVID-19 Safety Plan – Summary

How we’re screening for COVID-19
a) Active Screening – asking COVID-19 screening questions
b) Passive Screening – symptom checklist posted at entrance and reception area as well as each treatment room for patients to self-assess
c) Keeping a register for contact tracing
How we’re controlling the risk of transmission in our clinic
• Physical distancing and separation wherever possible.
• Plexiglass barrier at reception area.
• Scheduling patient appointments in such a way as to reduce the number of people in the clinic at the same time.
• Reconfiguring waiting rooms and treatment rooms to ensure physical distancing wherever possible.
• Face masks/covering must be worn when attending the clinic.
• Using hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the clinic.
• Hand sanitizers are located at entrance, each treatment room, and other high traffic areas throughout the clinic.
• Patients are encouraged to use credit or debit cards for payment.
• Limiting exchange of paper whenever possible (e.g. emailing receipts, emailing reminders of scheduled appointments)
• Frequent cleaning and disinfection of high traffic areas.
• Cleaning and disinfection of treatment rooms as well as all equipment used after each patient.

*Aim Rehabilitation Centre’s COVID-19 safety plan will be re-evaluated as public health recommendations evolve/change.
